Tuesday Treats, New Products, Blog Train, and More!
First let me apologize for being late with my Tuesday Treats Newsletter and my Blog Train. This is the first time we've had electricity (and computer access and internet AND HEAT!) in almost 48 hours! We live in Texas, and Wow! we've had more snow here than I've ever seen before in Texas! It's beautiful and such a miracle of nature, but just as many of you would be, we weren't at all prepared for below 0 F temperatures. Neither was our city! We get a lot of our energy from wind, and the turbines were frozen. We also use natural gas, but the lines were also frozen. I know "they" were working night and day because every 6 hours or so the lights would flicker on and then turn off almost immediately. We'd get a glimmer of hope (for heat as it was in the 40s and dropping in here), and then it would all be black again. Robert and I and our two little kitties bundled up and did just fine, but let me tell you, I don't think I want to move north any time soon! It was as if we were camping in the winter - dark and cold. Tammy and Chris were snuggled up with some towels, so I took off the winter scarf I was wearing and tucked them in. Sweet babies!
Yay! It's getting toasty in here again (you don't realize how nice it is to have power ... until you don't), so on with my post.
I have a lot to share with you today.
Not only did we get to celebrate Valentine's Day this week, but my birthday is tomorrow. Most of my Bundles are on sale at MM for 60% off, and I'd love to say that's it's because I'll be 60 tomorrow. Actually, I'll be 60 and then some. :) I have a lot of bundles on sale, so have fun looking!
