If you haven't used clipping masks before, consider trying them now.  If you're using PS or PSE, it's really easy.  Layer your photo above the mask, hold down the alt key, put your curser on the line between the two layers in the layers palette, and click, clipping your photo to the shape of the mask.  How awesome your Thanksgiving photos will look on your layouts this year!
